I have always wanted to write a book and though I don't lack the imagination, I do have trouble putting those ideas and thoughts down in writing. Since John and I are possibly going to visit Vietnam this May and never mind the fact that I love Vietnamese food, I have decided that I'm going to write a Vietnamese cookbook. My book will have recipes from my mom, sister, brother-in-law and people I come across while traveling in Vietnam. John will be my photographer. I know there are Vietnamese cookbooks out there already but the ones I have skimmed through or purchased, I didn't like so much. I want my book to be a go-to for anyone who wants to make yummy dishes---a book that is not only informative and detailed but also authentic.

A group of us went out for Dim Sum to celebrate the Lunar New Year. There were so many dishes ordered that the waiter had to put the extras on another table. I don't think I'll be eating dim sum again for awhile.
This is our table after about 6 plates/tins of food had already been eaten and taken away. There were still about 7 dishes still on the other table.
